I only have experienced the labor and delivery as well as the postpartum departments in this hospital. The staff is exceptionally amazing!!! My nurse throughout labor and delivery was so kind and patient and caring. Postrecovery, the nurses were on top of everything they always kept my cup filled and made sure that I had enough to eat and helped encourage me to walk and gain my strength back. The nurses were super sweet and cheerful.... like a breath of fresh air. I had such an amazing experience there and I do not want to go anywhere else ! It was very clean and well kept. Even walking down the hallways people would acknowledge me. I definitely give these departments 5+ star rating. The doctors there are also very kind along with their nurses.
On the way from Fort Worth to Colorado for summer vacation, I missed a curb while antiquing here and severely sprained my ankle. My husband and I felt I was well taken care of. Everyone we encountered showed genuenine concern and care especially my nurse, Mindy.
I transferred to NWTH via ambulance after a home birth. The labor and delivery staff was wonderful. They were respectful and efficient. They made my unexpected visit that could have been horrible absolutely wonderful. I would recommended them !!!
I’m not a frequent flyer at this hospital, I usually go to the adjacent BSA hospital, but needs must and it wasn’t a bad experience. Personally I prefer BSA but everything and everyone here was pleasant and helpful. The building is definitely not as well presented as its neighbor but it is well kept and clean.
Very friendly front desk and registration. Very clean and beautiful hospital inside after renovations. Great experience with labor and delivery staff and lab techs. My insurance covers both BSA and Northwest and I prefer Northwest.
There was misunderstandings going on so I won't advise this place if autistic and some other disabilities
Had to spend 11 days at NWTH.. The doctors, nurses and staff were all amazing! I felt well taken care of.. Thanks NWTH!
I received incredible care here. All the doctors and nurses were kind and caring. I received care instantly and the quality of the facilities was unbeatable. Highly recommended.
Just came I'm from this ER and everyone from the very nice front desk lady who helped wheel me out to the nurses in the back who were polite sweet and answered all my questions, were top notch. Just left at 7 Sat and If I'm ever in the area and need aid I will be coming back, Probably will be sending cards to thank them if I can remember there names, nice visit beat I've had in an ER
We had a wonderful experience here. We came in to get checked the day before I was scheduled to be induced. I had high blood pressure, so they kept me just to be safe. I wanted to have an all natural birth and they where very supportive and explained all options I had and possibilities that could arise. We where very thankful for the whole staff. I ended up having an infection in my placenta and her heartbeat would disappear for a while. We then had to move quickly and have an emergency c-section. I grieved the natural birth I wanted and they gave me my time. They made sure I was informed and explained not only to me, but my family, for me, as to what we needed done and how it could effect me. They made a good call, because even though I was dialated to an 8, my umbilical cord had knots in it and anytime we had a contraction it would pull tight and she stopped recieving blood, and her heartbeat would disappear. It was wonderful to know what was happening every step of the way, and that we where under a caring staff who wanted us to keep with what made us happy. After birth I was constantly checked on, along with baby. Each doctor that worked on my surgery came to see me and speak with me to tell me what happened and see how I was healing, and helpful tips to have a smooth transition. All nurses have been phenomenal with us and our little one, and have made our first birth, a very graceful and comfortable experience. I will continue to refer them!
I had surgery here Friday and have been staying since. I've had horrible treatment and service in the past at different places. Northwest doesn't qualify for that bad of a rating. The service here is acceptable. The main issue I have is that RN's here seem to either hate or not care about their jobs or they hate or not care about me. I'm not a mean patient at all too! I'm one of those that has a high level of respect for those in the profession, and I appreciate all the help received. Everytime a nurse walks in, I try to be cheery and sometimes joke around. They have a hard enough job. I try to make it better every time I see them. But, this staff's attitude leaves me wondering how much of their displeasure is brought on by themselves and their own attitudes! Weirdest thing is that it seems to affect the higher title more than like CNA's and stuff. Tge higher the title, the more they seem to not want to be here! They really do kind of stick to bare minimum with their work and care provided too. You seriously need to figure out what it is these people hate about their jobs, cause yeesh!
The Staff was Excellent.Very Attentive. The MRI Tech was Especially Wonderful. She was Very Nice. The Only Thing I Didnt like Was the Waiting. But a Good Crew Will Get You Past That.NW ER is Real Good.
My son was misdiagnosed at BSA on Saturday, Monday we came to NWT and the doctor immediately did and ultrasound and CT, which BSA never did, once the Dr saw the CT he had do prepare my son for emergency surgery. The doctors, nurses and entire staff here are great!!! Best hospital
I had my baby there and the nursing staff was great. In labor and delivery I had Hannah and Courtney. Both were amazing and made me feel super comfortable. They were helpful and understood my needs and were patient through my labor pains. In the post labor side I had one great nurse named Liberty. She was so helpful and provided top level care. I gave the hospital overall 4/5 because the food wasn't that great, really it was pretty bad. The rooms you have during and after labor were amazing.
I had very good care from when I arrived until 3 days later very kind to my family also.
